Things to Do with Burlap #3 – Table Round

Art has had this table for-get this-longer than I have been breathing! It was antique when he got it, but now it is simply ancient and I love it. The chairs came from my family and they work so well together.

It is a beautiful oak and I hate covering it up, so in comes the burlap.

Burlap + Fringe that I had bought for this ottoman and didn’t use =

Nothing earth-shattering, but it is ten times better than the tablecloth that covered all of that history up! Now if I could just get enough burlap to cover up that ugly rental home carpet…..we would be is bizness!

I would call this a Thrifty Treasure so I am linking up:)

What? You want to cover up the floor?! LOL ~ I knew you were burlap obsessed, but this might just be a bit much.
What a cute little rounder for the table. And to say that the chairs and the table go together so well is an understatement.
I need to pull out the sewing machine and make myself one of those rounders. But it probably won't end up being a thrifty project- that long ol' fringe will probably cost me an arm and a leg...

Great job using things you had to make a change.

RE rental home carpet. We own our home, and it has horrible carpet too.
I'm grateful we have a home to live in, be it bad carpet, or not. =0)

Fringe is so fun! And your comment was so funny!Someday I'll get brave and show you all the baggage that came with this place and the attic!

Wonderful table; love all your burlap projects.

And I was so glad to hear that a crib cover is not your next one :)

I relate, I HATE my carpet. LOTHE. But I can't afford to lose it. I do however love your gorgeous table and the burlap cloth on it. Great job this week!
Thank you for linking up to Thrifty Thursday.

I love that table very nice. I have an antique table that has family history and I feel the same way about covering it up too. Have a great weekend! Traci

I love this idea! You can still see the table. I need to find some fringe!! I am also going to borrow the trash can idea so I can show off some of the graphics from the bags.

I love that table! My husband has been replacing all carpets with tile in the building he manages, and I seriously do not understand why anyone would want to have carpet in a rental place.
